Data Governance Roadmap for Ireland

With a foreword by Micheál Martin, Tánaiste at the time of publication, the strategic vision of the Data Governance Roadmap for Ireland is to enable the responsible governance of data and artificial intelligence as the basis of a sustainable information-enabled and data-informed society. This will be achieved through the development of data capabilities, the alignment and mapping of data initiatives, and the development and promotion of data practices and literacy across society.
The goal of the roadmap is to provide a mechanism to support the alignment of disparate initiatives related to data and to ensure the development of these macro-level data governance and capabilities.
