“As cluster lead for Sustainable Cities and Communities, it is my ambition to support new leaders in Horizon projects from Maynooth University and our expanded ecosystem, such as enterprise partners). GoGreen Next (€6m. 2024-2028), our second Horizon project on urban health, has thrived in the IVI ecosystem and our researchers (research assistants, PhD and postdoctoral researchers) are embedded within this interdisciplinary setting. Our most recent Horizon Europe success involves being a work package lead in a EU Horizon Widening Action project, Green Talent. This project gives us further learning opportunities and required expertise which IVI already had in learning frameworks.”
