Ada is a PhD candidate in Environmental Psychology at Maynooth University. She conducts her PhD research as part of the EU Horizon funded GoGreen Next project. Ada completed her BSc in Liberal Arts and Sciences (Majoring in Earth, Energy and Sustainability) at Leiden University College (The Hague, Netherlands) and her MSc in Environmental Psychology at Maynooth University. She conducted her BSc thesis research in Sydney, Australia on an exchange semester, exploring challenges and opportunities for place-based climate change communication through expert interviews. For her Masters thesis she developed an integrative framework for advancing Environmental Psychology within Planetary Health education. Her PhD research explores the definition and application of the multidimensional health concept Planetary Health in urban areas. As part of this research she is also involved in the work of the Planetary Health Cluster, which is comprised of 5 projects working on diverse Planetary Health related issues, including GoGreen Next. Ada’s PhD research advances the understanding of the interconnectedness between human and environmental health and aims to facilitate urban intervention and policy design for Planetary Health.
